Story

In 1841, Edward, Ann and seven of the family were shown living in Crockham Hill in the parish of Westerham in Kent.7
 
In 1851, the widowed Ann Field Steer is shown as living at the address of Crockham Hill in the district of Holy Trinity, parish of Westerham, Kent. With her were her widowed daughter, confusingly also Ann Field Steer, and her daughter Kate (Catherine).8
 
In 1861, the widowed Ann Field Steer is shown as living at the address of Crockham Hill in the district of Crockham Hill, parish of Westerham, Kent. With her were her unmarried daughter Catherine Steer, and Catherine's five year old son, Edmund Charles Ward.2
 
In 1871, Ann F Steer is shown as living in Crockham Hill, Kent with her unmarried daughter Catherine Steer.9
