George write a will on 17 April 1883. In it, he left everything to wife Alice.5
 
George Steer was born in Charlwood, Surrey, England on 16 August 1851. He was the fourth child of Ann and Edward.3,2
 
Marriage and Family
Alice Hinge and George Steer were married in Tatiara, South Australia on 3 April 1883. They had six children between 1994 and 1901.3
 
George Steer died in Bordertown, South Australia on 7 January 1920.

At the time of his death, George had estate in South Australia 'not exceeding the value of thirty thousand pounds'. He also had personal estate (not real estate) in Victoria 'not exceeding the value of two thousand five hundred and eighty eight pounds' in a mortgage and interest to Johann, Gustav and Franz Kuchel of Lillimur. The probate process was completed on 14 August 1921.4
