| By the time Allan moved to Melbourne to live, he was a grocer and a drinker. He lived with his adopted family in South Oakleigh. Marjorie Barugh already had two children when she and Allan married. When 12 months later Marjorie died following a brain haemorrhage, Allan brought up the two teenage children as his own.3,4 | |
