In the 1950s, Roylyn and Joy Phillips once stayed with their father's cousin, Tom Guerin and his family in South Australia. Tom's land was purchased by the South Australian government to become the new city of Elizabeth. The family did very well from the sale. Roylyn and Joy reported their surprise at seeing their first freezer.3,4,5
